Public Speaking and Presentational Skills

Program Description: Jerry Seinfeld once said that at a funeral, most people would rather in be in the casket than giving the eulogy. America’s greatest anxiety, public speaking, is a necessity in today’s business world. Those who can speak in front of crowds and have effective presentational skills tend to move up the corporate ladder more swiftly. The ability for you to stand in front of an audience, project confidence and knowledge, all the while making a connection and capturing your audience’s imagination is very powerful and persuasive.

Program Abstract: This workshop is a hands on approach to reducing your fear of public speaking. We will work on ways to eliminate the fear of speaking in front of others. One of the keys is being well prepared before you speak. Having your speech well thought out and rehearsed will help in eliminating your fear. Also, there will be mental techniques taught that will prepare you before you stand-up in front of others.

In addition, you will learn how to effectively use PowerPoint in getting your topic across. An eye popping PowerPoint can help you in ensuring that your audience will retain the information that you are delivering. Learn how to use pictures, music, and video’s in your presentations.
