What you learned in your college accounting class is about to change dramatically. GAAP is going through a convergence with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to create a one, country neutral, global accounting standard. No matter if you are an accountant, banker, entrepreneur, manager, or investor, you need to interpert this change and the sooner the better.
